The Aspects of Inspiration
word count: 255

What is a stimulus me to do creative work? Prayer and meditation work well in stimulating me to begin creative work. In addition, having an unfinished project is a stimulus because it generates good stress; i.e. the type of stress that encourages a person to go beyond the perceived limits of self. Many limitation a person has are those of perception, if one believes something is limiting it is.

What inspires me? All most anything inspires me. Taking a trashcan to the curb at down and then standing there to watch the sunrise over Las Vegas. My brother telling about an encounter with a hooker on Las Vegas Blvd, which I incorporated into a short story or poem (I’m going to have to find that and reread it).

What is creativeness? Creativity is a spiritual attribute, a quality of the human soul rather then a physical ability. This is the reason creativeness manifest itself in so many ways. Everyone has different talents to contribute to the advancement of humanity and civilization, each person has a reason for being born on this planet at this time in history; a person’s enhances his or her talent creativity, prayer, and meditation.

What is a good idea? I think it is an epiphany, sudden realizations that transform one’s life, or suggest a story, poem, or a new recipe. Every day we encounter events that can trigger an epiphany; we just have to be open and receptive at that moment because if we aren’t then it passes unnoticed and unaccepted.
