Accurate, reliable, timely data:
vital to effective decision-making,
in almost every aspect
of human endeavour.

In the absence of accurate,
reliable and timely data,
people and organisations
will make bad decisions.

Speaking of which:

I married a man, twenty years ago,
from the data of my heart,
which proved, quite quickly, to be
inaccurate, unreliable and untimely.

People had tried to tell me.
But who ever stops to listen
to those who try to argue
with the data of the heart?

I have fallen victim
to my many bad decisions
but am moving still, to the rhythms,
of the data of my heart.
