What a difference a day can make!

Thank heavens, my doctor's appointment yesterday is having some results. He prescribed 20 mg prednisone and 20 mg omeprazole, each once a day. Already, I am experiencing relief in the shoulder and neck and leg, pain and stiffness. My right leg is a little improved in that I can step up around 4 inches with no pain. He said I would see miraculous improvement and he was right!

His tentative diagnosis is polymyalgia rheumatica, and he is referring me to a rheumatologist.

Also, I am scheduled for an MRI on Wednesday for a tentative diagnosis of cervical spondylosis w/myelopathy. And an EMG (something electrical) on the third of April.

I feel so much better, mentally, this morning!
