Newsletter Question: Showstoppers
Question: Who is your favorite historical romance hero? Book, TV or movie? Why? [From the Romance/Love newsletter]

Without question Elizabeth Bennett in Pride and Prejudice. She was spunky in an era where it was not proper to be so outspoken. Every time it comes on, I stop and watch. I like the English version best because it breaks it out in about five or six 2-hour segments and I don't miss anything.

In the contrast, the next must see "romance" is Ray Liotta who plays Henry Hill in Goodfellas. There is absolutely nothing redeeming in this movie. It may not even qualify as a romance. I call it a "romance" because it maybe kinda sorta explains why some girls like bad boys. I don't know. I just like it

The only commonality between my two choices is that they are both "drop and watch" movies. I don't care what I am supposed to be doing or how important it is, these two are show stoppers for me.

So that's all. Bye.
