Doesn't reincarnated equal recycled?
PROMPT: War Chest Wednesday--- Do you believe in reincarnation? No, I don't believe in reincarnation. If I did buy into this theory then I'd have to accept that I am not unique, or new, or one-of-a-kind. My gene pool, my parentage would be inconsequential. Are there a finite number of souls? I'd be a recycled soul travelling on a never-ending loop. How often would I have to return to live yet again? Would I experience a fifty-year life span with fifty years off before being reborn? Could I expect an immediate rebirth after my death? Would each 'new' life cover a longer stretch of time? Would I be considered recycled, up-cycled, upgraded, downgraded, or what? Would I be doomed to repeat or re-hash past mistakes? With each rebirth, would I inevitably be a klutz?Would I re-celebrate victories? Would I be drawn to similar friends and similar careers? Would I always be a female? Would I always be the same ethnicity? Would I always adhere to the same religious beliefs? Would I always live in the same geographical area? What is the purpose of reincarnation if I'm the same old me? I don't want to repeat everything; I've been there and done that.
