I have often availed myself to the use of tutors. I am terrible at mathematics. I have difficulty balancing a checkbook. The one thing I excel in is writing. Therefore when I was in college I often traded proofreading term papers for extra math tutoring. It was a lot of work but it got me through. Tutors can help where teachers fail. They help the student see through a pair of fresh eyes.
