Let's Learn
We are always learning. What are you learning now?

This book is a Hoot!

"I'm presently reading "The Case For Christ" by Lee Strobel

Lee Strobel is an investigative journalist. While writing an article, about an attempted murder case against James Dixon he uncovered a piece of evidence, while using an informant. The evidence proved Dixon to be innocent. One of the things Strobel expresses in the book is, "One of the most obvious lessons was that evidence can be aligned to point in more than one direction." I think writers of mystery stories everywhere will agree with this statement.

Twenty some years later Strobel decided to put his investigative skills and objectivity to work uncovering the facts about the biblical evidence for Jesus in the New Testament. It is an interesting objective view, with interviews of people, who have spent their lives studying historical records, about the subject of Jesus.

While cruising through some movie lists on Netflix I discovered there is a movie made from this book. I plan to do a short review for "The Monthly Reading Challenge" by the end of March.

Another thing I am learning about right now is information about computer operating systems. I have a laptop that needs some electrical work done on it. If I get it fixed I might put a new operating system on it because it has windows 98 right now. I have not been able to use it since 2010. I think it has been since that year? Somehow, the electrical plug outlet place was destroyed. I don't know how.

My problem is when I surf I often find something I did not intend to read about or study. So, I often have tidbits of odd knowledge that take me to information I did not know about or send me off to look at a subject I wasn't planning to read about.
