Eclipse Day!

From now about four hours hence
We're waiting for to see
A shadow we will not know since
The rest of days will be!

Eclipse is something rarely known
Upon this continent,
When light of sun cannot be shown,
Until Moon's path be spent.

It lasts but short, two minutes long
Some longer and some less,
But from this day in man-ya song
The hearts of all will bless.

God makes His Presence known like this,
When Earthly work doth stop
To view a sight full writ by Bliss
That human hands can't top!

We thank, Thee, Lord, for signs in sky
To focus view again
Remembering that You are nigh
To keep our hearts from sin.

Please, keep our eyes now free from pain
And help us truly see
All Glory in our Lord we gain,
When from ourselves you free.

We thank you for this Eclipse Day
O'ershadowed by the moon!
Please help us that we'll full obey
The Lord, Who's coming soon!
