Won the Writer's Cramp!
I was so happy to discover that I had won the Writer’s Cramp! I found out at around 9:30 am when it was 12:30 pm WdC time. The judge gave me a perfect five stars and said it was an excellent story with an exclamation point at the end. I won against three other people – one which was a poem. I honestly did not think I would win. I got the special 17k GP award for the 17th WdC anniversary.
I edited for about an hour - and – a - half. The chapter I am on is over 3k words long. I’m trying to cut out as much as I can and still show how my protagonist adapts to a town four – thousand years in the past.
I began my outline and it is already quite long. I’m not done either. I’ll just have to write as little as I can for each bullet point. My intention is to not go too much over 3k words. The limit is 6k but people tend to be reluctant about reviewing long pieces.
I’ still waiting who won the last Rhythms and Writing contest. I got it reviewed by two people I think. If I recall right the two reviews were four stars each. Lastly I got another review a little earlier today. I was given four – and – half stars for an old Cramp entry. He said he spotted only one error. I was surprised.
Jim is picking up sandwiches from a sub shop. My mom planned to go to Albertson’s for meal ingredients. My mom was going to make these mushroom wraps. Jim did not like the sound of it though. My mom was going to make chicken burritos for me. It would have probably taken over an hour to get everything for the meals. Instead we’re doing subs tonight.
Chad may be calling soon. I said I would call him first. I have to do this though. I believe he gets his check today. I think he said it might be a little over three- hundred dollars. He just bought a Ninja Turtle figure for over one – hundred dollars. I think he is wasting all his money. But everyone has their thing. My thing (writing/reading/WdC) is healthy though.
Chad was having problems getting online with his PS3 or PS4. I do not remember if he fixed it.
I have not touched the PS3 since Sunday. I feel uncomfortable when I go near it. I do want to play it though. Everything has to be in moderation.
I wonder when the Lord will let me drive. I really want to. For some reason He does not want me to.
Jim is off from Albertson’s after working four or five days straight. He deserves it. He should be off tomorrow as well – from Albertson’s that is.
It is starting to cool down. I noticed it on the way from the gym. I had Starbucks today. It was tasty.
Well, that is it for me. Goodbye.
