autumn ignition

autumn ignites you.
color splashes remembrances
when we were free to seek a summit.
brisk breezes brushed
red cheeks flashing blushes.
free to climb together,
surrounding waves pounded the very same rocks
beneath ultraviolet swashes soft.
we gaze through the frame.
our autumn back again,
but memory fades from you, my friend.
I see a solemn scene alone.
