After my mom & nephew moved in, my business started doing poorly. It's been a while since I've had a regular job, so I haven't had the best luck finding one. After six unsuccessful interviews, I found something interesting. Pizza Inn needed a person for Offsite Sales. I haven't worked in the food industry since my teen job at Baskin-Robbins, so I wasn't sure I'd get a second look. But it turns out, they wanted someone older, someone they can trust to carry a good bit of cash to different locations. I load the catering van with 15-30 pizzas, drive to one of the small surrounding towns, and let the people come to me. I'm having fun getting to know the repeat customers. I've even made some suggestions to improve sales. It seems to be going well. The pay is crap, but I get tips. All in all, I think I made the right choice. |

but seems to be okay today. I worry about my poor circulation, scrub my toes with a soft bristle brush, watch discoloration come and go. I probably need new arteries or veins but hey... "Heathcare" USA (enough said?). I may be better off trying something here in Thailand. But still... wish I lived in a country that had adequate patient based healthcare. Thailand and Taiwan mostly do, but I can't access it. First world systems like Europe, Canada and Australia do, but again, I can't access it.
