Hi, Lyn, yes no matter how much you love your adult children it’s not always easy to live together. Although in most Asian countries multi generational families all living in one small home is the norm.

Sue, interesting use of the words. I'm sure it's stressful for everyone the unknown. I know it was for Vic and I when we decided to move here at the time not knowing the depths of the situation with my daughter and her other half. She asked us to consider being closer but didn't elaborate. It was only a month from our departure, and we hadn't found a place we could afford wen she said, I rented us a house to share. I was surprised and asked what does share mean? She said, I'm over the abuse. That was my first indication of her relationship because every time we had visited, he behaved like the perfect person. We've since seen what he's really like. I'm glad we co-exist but it did take a lot of adjustment.

I agree with you about a waste of money that could help so many people.

I hate the noise and how it terrifies my cat. It's heartbreaking to see them trembling under the bed and whimpering because they're terrified and I can't make it go away.

The only fireworks I remember as a child were those set off on the final night of the Delaware State Fair held in my hometown growing up. Big deal then, now not so much.

Thank you, Joy, I’m sure though that there were those generations before me and you that suffered real hardship. Those pioneer women really knew what hardship was didn’t they?
Sometimes, if it doesn’t kill you, hardship builds character and resilience. Resilience is something many of the younger generations don’t seem to possess. Resilience needs to be taught in school because of the bullying the young ones have to deal with. I’m not sure I could have handled that particular hardship when I was so young.

Yes, Lyn I used to move my furniture around so much no one knew where anything was.😂
I just can’t do it anymore though, physically. So I think if my husband or myself go blind we would be able to navigate without bumping into things.😂

Sometimes looking at the situation from a different perspective. I do that sometimes when I move things around in my home by creating a themed look. It helps me feel like I'm in a different place than I am. Simple adjustments do make a difference.
