I'm right with you on the motivating / demotivating thing - not sure. My feeling is, the basic elements are conspiring against me, those elements being: 1) my natural tendency toward procrastination, 2) real-life stuff I can't ignore, only put off, and 3) an extremely irritating inability to shut off my infernal internal editor.
