I have tinnitus. Have had it ever since I had a bad bladder infection in my 20's. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. A constant ringing, humming, buzzing every second of every day and night. For more years than I want to admit. It really acts up when I get a cold. Nothing you can do for it. Hearing aids help a bit, but there is no cure. It's nerve damage.
