There are several options available for you. One is to put your item on "The Shameless "Plug" Page" . Scroll down to the bottom and follow the directions for posting your item.
You can also find a group on WDC that supports the genre in which your story is written. You can do that by selecting Groups in the Browse by Type link in the Navigation menu (left side of the page) and type your genre in the Search box. If a group exists, it should be displayed.
Make sure your item has no access restrictions so everyone can see it.
