Irrational fear in horror stories
There’s nothing to fear (or is there?)

MagicIan - For myself personally, they screwed up by remaking Dune. I will always favor the Older version over the newer one. I've refused to watch the new version of Dune.

Many movies they remake they land up ruining.

MagicIan - That's why it is an irrational fear

I have completed reviews for the Newbies and written some stories. I will be adding to my personal story soon. I have enjoyed the feedback I've been getting from the newbies.
I finished reading "The Witch's Book of Self-Care" and have finished 1/3 of the diamond painting I'm working on. Taking a break from writing has given my muse time to recharge and he has been giving me ideas for my novels. I take a moment to write them down and go back to what I am doing but later on I will see where those ideas take me.
I completed all the writing assignments except 1 for this week. Gonna try to do it now.
It's Summer Solstice, the perfect time to discuss nature religions.
Have you invented any nature religions for your fictional worlds?

Well, I'm still in the mental formulation stages of a White Wolf Games fanfic where Dracula's so-called "brides" are actually a triad of manipulative vampiresses. Khementiri; a renegade Setite. Zubeida; a Silent Strider-turned Setite-Embraced Abomination. And Inyanga; a Gangrel-Embraced Bagheera Kinfolk Dreamspeaker.

They turn out to be the true masterminds behind an eco-terrorist subsect of the Tlacique.
MagicIan -

Sadly, the fanfic will probably never get beyond that stage. I seem to have hit an erosion-proof writer's block.
My muse is playing with one for my Nezoom story.

Going to the back of my mind, cleaning supplies in hand to clean up the space and push some of the things in my mind's front in there instead to make room for new front-brain stuff.

A look at the extra details that can be helpful in a static item like word counts and poetic form notes.
Do you add notes with your static item? If so, where do you put them?

If I have notes, I always put them at the end of the story. They are marked in the text with a number, and the note at the end has a corresponding number.
Dave
Yes. I use dropnotes to provide information about the particular form of poetry applied.
I only add them if I am entering a contest that asks for them. If so, I usually put them at the end.
