Jack staggered home from school one day with a black eye and slightly twisted leg. The bullies at his school had beaten him up after school. Again.Jack was mad as usual, but there was nothing he could do about. He was just too weak.
Jack was a 16 year old fox anthro. He always got A's and did well in school. However, he was sly and clever like most foxes, but that left him without a lot of muscle. Or any muscle. He had no friends at school and the teachers were too lazy to see that he was getting beat up pretty much every day. It was a hard life.
Jack walked into the back of his house and slammed the door angrily. He set his backpack down and yelled out "Mom! I'm home!". No reply. Suddenly, Jack noticed a not on the fridge. It said:
Dear Jack,
Your father and I are going away for the week. We trust that you will be responsible, get your homework done, and go to bed on time. See you in a week!
Mom
Jack sighed and set the note down. At least he could relax alone. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Jack groaned and went to go answer. When he opened the door, the only thing there was a small package. He raised an eyebrow, but picked it up and set it on the counter and opened it. All that was in there was a small blue rock with a slight glow and a note. The note read:
Your Destiny
Jack thought that was weird.Destiny? What the heck did that mean? Jack shrugged and picked it up. He thought about everyone beating him up and got mad all over again. He silently wished he were stronger, like those bodybuilders in magazines. That would teach those bullies a lesson.
Suddenly, Jack felt a warm tingling all over his body......
