Review of The Promise

First and foremost, thank you for sharing your work . I am not an expert reviewer. I am just another writer, but I know it is the reviews that help us to perfect our craft. My opinions are just that; my opinions. This review was done for the Game of Crowns contest.

OVERALL IMPRESSIONS:

A short story about a man and his wife and a promise he makes to her to give her a simple home with a picket fence and rooms especially created for crafts and workshop.

PLOT & CHARACTERS:

As the years go by it seems that the promises go on but they are no longer able to see that those things will happen. Then it becomes apparent that these promises will never be achieved. As the woman nears death the man tells his wife of another promise. This promise is one that he does have to keep because it is assured by God.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

I enjoyed this story and particularly the ending. Keep writing and sharing your ideas and stories.
