I am reviewing your Dear Me letter as one of the judges for "Dear Me: Official WDC Contest" . Thanks for entering! What does hoovsie think about while perusing your item? I like your specificity in setting goals. Organizing your poetry collection and editing your novel sound like they are things already set up and waiting for you to do your thing. I agree that 2021 is probably the type of year to approach goals as ways to finish things that might have been started in 2020 and before. In other words, ease into it. That seems like a good way to go about achieving what you want to achieve. I Write and Good Reads seem compatible. Reading is a way to inspire writing and doing that I Write Activity is always fun. It is good that you have the discipline to do it. You know you do because of past performance. Walking more is good, as is meditation and starting slow and easing into things to get oriented.   My criteria for judging Dear Me letters is about what I find memorable and interesting. It may not agree with anyone else's judgment. I also enjoy something that touches me personally. That is to give you an idea of where I'm coming from in the whole judging realm. No expert on keeping my own New Year's Resolutions, I didn't even try to think of any this year. So, I'm also looking to be inspired with my own plans for the year. I admire you for teaching in this scary time, too. I bet that's a challenge every single day. None of us knows what really goes on in the education systems right now. I have two grandsons who are still doing virtual, but I think that there is a shift toward in-person where they go to school. Who knows how these young ones will cope with all this nonsense in the end or how much damage has been done by the malfeasance and mismanagement of politicians. What does hooves moo and applaud about while reading your item? I particularly like your approach to "changing your eating habits" rather than dieting. When that happens and one makes an effort to do that, healthier times cannot be far away. Well done with everything and thank you for all you do as a teacher to help the young ones!  HOOVES, a.k.a.
