What does hoovsie think about while perusing your item?

It sounds like you are well on your way to your goals, as you are continuing with admirable writing goals that already involve works in progress.

Looking at completed work that has been set aside with fresh eyes sounds like a very doable and positive way to go.

My criteria for judging Dear Me letters is about what I find memorable and interesting. It may not agree with anyone else's judgment. I also enjoy a sense of humor or something that touches me personally.

That is to give you an idea of where I'm coming from in the whole judging realm.

No expert on keeping my own New Year's Resolutions, I didn't even try to think of any this year. So, I'm also looking to be inspired with my own plans for the year.


What does hooves moo and applaud about while reading your item?

I like the fact that you say you are open to new experiences. Being able to pivot and not being rigid helps one to adapt. I agree with your assessment of 2020. It was that and worse at times.

I was particularly struck by your resolve to support the cinema by going. I think a lot of us need to focus outward by helping those industries that we love. If not now, when.

Maybe we will save things for future generations by doing that.
