What does hoovsie think about while perusing your item?

You have a lot of ambitious goals. What you have learned, over time, is that you get things done. Your goals don't depend on outside forces (like a pandemic) so much as they depend on your willingness to do thinks and stick to them.

It was good and informative to read about how Na No Wri Mo acts as a catalyst and motivation. You use the activities and things provided by the site as ways to spur you to action. I think that you sound pretty self-motivated otherwise, having a lot of goals, but ones that are definitely doable and within your range of considerable talents.

My criteria for judging Dear Me letters is about what I find memorable and interesting. It may not agree with anyone else's judgment. I also enjoy a sense of humor or something that touches me personally.

That is to give you an idea of where I'm coming from in the whole judging realm.

No expert on keeping my own New Year's Resolutions, I didn't even try to think of any this year. So, I'm also looking to be inspired with my own plans for the year.

I admire you for all the thought and effort you put into this.

What does hooves moo and applaud about while reading your item?

What struck me, in particular, was your notion of revisiting the music/guitar for your Dad's sake and for your own as well. This time you find a way to do it on your own terms.

This part impressed me:

"It's like I've always told people -especially those who claim "I could write a book too"-: If it's important, you make time for it."

If people want they can use the last year as an excuse. You use it as a motivating force I think.
