About friends in all types of weather
'Coz it's a friendly thing to do
So you prove that what you say is true!

Things are better with a friend
Happiness begins, sorrow does end.
You can share things and secrets
Knowing there'll be no regrets.

I like the way you've displayed it
Colour-coded, blue-n-orange shaded.
That way we know whom to quote
'Coz we know which lines each of you wrote.

The two of you are nicely in synch
Though each style is quite distinct
The tone, description, the word choice
Points at each distinct voice

Yet when you read them together
They're birds of a feather
They fly as one, and make a whole
Which is satisfying to the soul!

So thank you for this verse you penned
Two colours, two styles did blend
Giving the reader a poetic treat
Which I think is pretty neat!
