 | Ding Dong  [E] silly poem for Halloween  |
| (5.0)   Greetings, AmyJo- back to basics again!! I am reviewing this because I discovered this fun little piece on Read & Review.  First of all, my reviews are intended to be helpful and encouraging, not hurtful in any way. Use what you feel works for you, and leave the rest. The Positives/What I Liked I realize this is a Halloween poem, but I couldn't help but enjoy it, even in May.   I've often wondered, "What if someone says Trick? What then? I never worried about it as a child, but my curiosity got the best of me as an adult...and a writer, of course.  What a great idea for a children's story prompt, too! Hmm...  I also like how you told this piece from the adult's side of it, which made it interesting! He or she made out in the end! Hopefully they bought candy they liked! I always buy Halloween candy we like, since we rarely get more than one family of trick-or-treaters (we live in the country on a dead-end dirt road. ) I loved the larger font! Thank you, for that. And centering it was also a good choice. Suggestions/Comments to ConsiderI have no suggestions! Final ThoughtsGreat job! I haven't read a Halloween poem like this before, so that makes it unique.
