When the fields are fallow
And the trees are barren
I imagine you,
Beautiful
Elusive
Absent
As the seasons change
You remain in my mind
Forever
Constant
Now
when the fields are rich
And the trees are in bloom
You invade my thoughts
Like you were always mine
