God is our source of sustenance and strength in whatever struggles we are in.
When sorrow comes
And despair enters,
Come to God’s river
Full of fresh water.

It will quench your thirst,
Renew you strength.
Give you life
All over again.

Come to God’s river
Full of clear water,
So that your loneliness
Will be found nowhere.

God’s river is clean
It will ease your pain,
Lighten your load,
And make you whole again.

So stand up now
From your bed of pain.
Come to God’s river
And drink from its water.
