I had to write this for a class I was in. Enjoy!
As I sat on the hard plastic chair I verted my gaze toward the window. I looked out onto the great out-doors. Just by looking at it I took a deep breath on impluse, but only got a big breath of pencil shavings and kids bad B.O. I coughed loudly and caught the teacher's eyes. I slowly turned my head back down to my paper and stared at the blank lines. I picked up my pencil and glanced back at the paper to double to check the question. What is theme in Hamlet? I put my pencil back on my desk and my forehead found my hands. I dropped my hands loudly on the desk this time getting a glare form the teacher and looks from everyone else. I slowly put my hands on the book and pulled it towards me. As one hand flipped one page at a time the other was holding my head up to eye ball the pages. This was torture! I looked up from the worn down book on my desk and saw everyone writing, well everyone who wasn't done that is. I flopped my head back into my hand and started to flip more pages. Flip. Flip. Flip. Flip. Every page wasjust the same, more words without lines. Who in there right mind would read this? Cindy Hudson sat next to me smiling smugly while reading Romero and Juliet. Cindy Hudson was supposed to be in the 8th grade, buth there she sat in the 10th grade classroom READING! I say again, who in there right mind would read this? I leaned over slightly and stared at her question/answer sheet. What is the theme of Romero and Juliet? What?!? Romero and Juliet? That's the play we havbe been reading all week. I look up at the board and drop my head to the desk. On the board in bright red letters said: Students please grab your question/answer sheets for Romero and Juilet AND Hamlet which we sha'll study next week! I lifted my head off my desk got up from that hard plastic chair, stalked over to the papers and picked up the right one. I then turned on my heel and made it back to my desk in a huff. I put the paper on my desk, sat down and picked up my pencil. I stared down at the question. I put my pencil on my paper, and then the bell rang. "Okay class whatever you didn't finish today is homework tonight." Great! Now I have to do all this tonight. School sucks!
