The Carpenter was walking down a path
His head hung low
His shoes crunching on the pebbles
Lonely and alone
Wishing to meet someone
On this Christmas night

Suddenly
The sky turn dark
Raindrops began to fall
Thunders began to roar
The Carpenter raises his gaze to the heavens and shook his head
In dejection

A huge gust of Wind came from nowhere
And blew him on to a another path
The Carpenter did not notice
He covered his eyes with his arm
Protecting them from flying debris

The Wind pushed him from all sides
Guiding him to the Path
Fulfilling his wish
His fate
His destiny

The Wind stopped blowing
And fade away into nothingness
And the Carpenter lowered down his arm
His eyes looking around him

He wondered
How did he got here
He never seen this place before
This Path

In the darkness
He saw a person sitting at the side of the Path
A girl with pale white skin
Her skin almost glowing in the dark
And she was lonely and alone

The Carpenter walked towards her
His mouth uttering a Greeting to her
The girl looked up at him in confusion
Her brown eyes stared at him warily
She tried to stand up but stumbled
She was hurt and unable to stand
Her eyes never left him

The Carpenter wanted to help her
With his scarred hand
He reached out to her
He said that he was just a carpenter who makes furniture
In a little shop at the edge of the city

The girl shook her head
Her black hair momentarily afloat in the air
And she spoke

The Carpenter finally understood
She cannot understand him
And neither could he
They spoke different languages

However
The Carpenter still reached out to her
Putting his hand over her back
And another hand on her arm
He supported her
Not letting her fall

She gave a small weak smile at him
A smile of intense gratitude
She guided him to her home
With little nudges and gestures

Soon
They reached her home
The Carpenter placed her on an armchair
And tend to her wounds
While the girl just stared at him
Unable to speak
Her eyes filled with gratefulness

The Carpenter when back to his little shop
Somehow he was able to find his way home
With the help of a little gust of Wind
On this Christmas night
