Getting To Know You My Friend- One Kick At A Time.
Getting To Know You My Friend

Moving to my heartbeat,
with a uterus microphone.
Tap--tapping itty-bitty feet,
reminding me I'm not alone.

Pantomiming your presence,
in your silly little way.
Bumps rise and fall in cadence,
to whatever you're doing today.

We've learned to adapt,
we're now quite a team,
with tight quarters,
we've learned to make do.

With you here inside,
along for the ride,
it's mommy and baby makes two.

It's fun having a playmate,
to hang out with each day.
You're a cheap little dinner date,
who gets in free at the buffet.

How can I love you so much?
I've never seen your little face.
But soon we can cuddle and touch,
and I'll welcome you to this place.

I love it like this and there's no rush.
But all good things will come to an end.
So play and sleep and dream and hush...
while I'm getting to know you my friend.

by Kimarie Manhart-Freeman

Life begins at the moment of conception, not at birth. Consider the following verses:

Jeremiah 1:5 -“Before I formed you in the womb
I knew you;Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

Psalm 139:13-"For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb."

Isa. 44:2-"Thus says the Lord who made you and formed you from the womb…"
