The Birth of Rock N Roll

Everybody's heard the tale of the crossroads. Leave a fee then make a deal. A kiss should send me on my way. Don't worry about the fine print, it takes too long. You've only got eternity.
Be a shame to let my borrowed talents go to waste. Let me learn you a few tunes to be a picker just as I am. Take this old Dobro and pluck away. Take in the smoothness of the neck, let the chords of Samael bind to your soul. Feel your fingers take control and become one with the wood and metal. Let people hear my voice for millennia to come. Be praised and respected just as you asked. Bask in the glory and take hold the reins of the world. But remember ... .I hold your chains, and I will be back for my payment.
I now own your soul to torment past the fall of humanity. So sing the songs of my jailors. Let them hear our cries. The black man's sweet southern home forever hums his melodies. They remember how he picked his strings and howled his sermons. My dear Curtis Loew, sing me a song or two would ya? They remind me of a lifetime from Eve's past. Temptation and desire guided the band, but the angelic beauty of Eden escaped them as they tangoed with the DEVIL. Married, now not even death can do us part. You're welcome Robert.
Time for the next town. Count my spoils, then head off down the road with a whistling harmonica.
