It's her birthday!
I don’t know how I found you,
Where I found you,
Or whether it was you
Who found me.

I was captivated, drawn,
Flowers are something I’ve never drawn.
I don’t mean to be repulsive, but

My Azalea, I keep you nearby,
I look at you when I’m stuck.
You manifest in my thoughts,
Always in the back of my mind,

Even when far.
My Azalea, your petals wave
Like the harsh sea. You never show
Your heads.

Your flowers are falling off,
I try to care for you, even when I’m lost.
I move you to follow the sun,

I keep you in my thoughts.
Some of your petals are soft, some dark.
They grow under others, out of the light.

I’ve not had you for long,
But it feels like a lifetime.
