when I look at you,
you look back
So I pretend
I was looking
behind you.

Sometimes
when I say something,
you look at me like that
So I pretend
I was only
joking.

Sometimes
when you look at me,
I get nervous
So I pretend
to laugh
at you.

Sometimes
when I think about what you mean to me,
I get scared
So I pretend
it's only
a crush.
