about my childhood
She screams in silence
While they scream through the paper thin walls
She slits her wrists with the tears of pain
Watching the blood, she falls
Living in the evils of Cain
They think everything's fine
But they don't know her secrets
Those feelings she hides
The louder the yells get
She gets colder
And here she is again
Lying alone, crying again
Wishing she was dead
But she fakes a smile
That everything's fine now
While she's being consumed by the dark
Those demons are ripping her apart
Inside out
The scars grow down her arm
Nothing compared to her dead heart
I didn't know how to help her
She wanted a home, but I had nothing to offer
So she began to fade with the stars
And now they regret it
They were the only ones who could help her
I watched her die like a wilted flower
While they watched her bleed as they killed her with each and every yell
