You’re Gone
You’re not real to me
Just a fading memory in the moonlight
I thought you loved me
But I'm wrong again
Shards of me slip down across my wrists
To small to put back together, but big enough to remind me of time when I had it all
Please tell me this is a dream and when I wake it will all be better
Flipping through the pages of my memories
Remember the days I felt love
Now I live in nostalgia
You were never real
Just a figment of my pathetic imagination
I guess its ok I puked the day away
And cried the night away
I wallow in my self-loathing
While she laughs in your arms
Laughing at the void that is me
You were all I had
But she’s better than me
And when I cry
I’ll cry without you there
And if I die
I’ll die knowing you don’t care
