Hi, My name is Sharon. I am 54 and a second year student in the Professional Writing Course at TAFE in Adelaide. I am an anti pokies campaigner who knows first hand the damage that these machines can cause in our communities. I have a page on FB called Communities Against Pokies where we connect with other campaigners from around the world, catch up on any news on reforms and organise rallies. At the end of my course I would like to write a book about gambling addiction and recovery to help others. We are currently studying Write For On Line Environments, hence my appearance here today.
