A girl who gets "Chosen" by a Companion, they act somewhat like unicorns, not the annoying prissy, sappy kinds, more like unicorns morals and sense, crossed with a cats sense of humour if that makes sense (unicats?) and look like them w/o horns. And her adventures becoming a Herald, a cross between a knight and a ranger.

Read the other 2, Arrows Flight and Arrows Fall, the're like one big book, like Lord of the Rings, Oh and i cant forget the one about the girl, Talia's friend Skif, its either "to catch a thief, or to take a theif" i can never rember...

Oooo lots and lots of action! and quests, and fights, and lots of stuff about the companions, quite a bit like Tamaora Pierces absolutly wonderful, Lioness Quartet!

It's sequels are very dark, the last one esp. all im saying is if you can't handle some of your fav. ppl dying DON'T READ IT! hope that gave nothing away...

Read it! it rocks! Yay for all the wonderful writters out there who never cease w/ their masterpieces! Its full of adventure and joy, its a book that makes you feel good, and really draws you in...not bad for a 1st novel!
