The Puppet King starts off with a group of two elves visiting a green dragon, and forcing him to tell the story of the younger elf's father, Commander Porthios. As the story progresses, often the older elf will relat pieces of the story as it occured elswhere in the realms. As you read on, you hear parts from various points of view.

I liked the part where the two green dragons gather a small army of dragons to fight the overwhelming forces of chaos.

I didn't like as much the parts involving politics.

I wanted to find the next story to find out what becomes of the younger elf.

The author of this book did a very good job with the constantly changing points of view.

I recommend this book to people who like to think and need a good, short read.

this is a really good book, and if you're into fantasy, it's a good buy.
