Martha Klein is a top dedicated chef of a posh resturant in Germany. She lives a lonely life and aspires to perfection. In her meals, every ingredient must be precise and she gets angry at customers who are critical of her food. This has led her to seeing a psychiatrist. One day her sister is killed and she must take care of her headstrong 8 year old neice, Lena. Martha doesn't know the first thing about taking care of a kid. Then, eccentric Italian sous chef Mario is hired at her resturant. He turns the kitchen upside down with his charm, and strikes a connection with young Lena. At first, Martha does like all these intrusions, but it begins to change her for the better.

This is a real feel good film.

There are no extras, but with a film like this, you won't need any.

This is just a real good film. Period.

There are some films I wish would go on forever. Mostly Martha is one of them. I wanted to just into the lives of the main characters and become friends with the characters. It was a irresistable film that will just grab hold and never let go. It was originally made for German television, but they had decided to release it onto the big screen. It is really good and I highly recommend it.
