Fool's Fate is the final installment in the Tawny Man trilogy. It tells the story of Prince Dutiful's quest to the Outisland of Aslevjal to take the head of the dragon Icefyre, encased in the island's glacier, to present to his betrothed.

Anyone who enjoyed the other Tawny Man books.

The way the characters are so well written, I've actually fallen in love with two of the main characters!

Realising as I got further into the trilogy that there is another series of books that pre-dates this one, it means I will have to buy and read those now too!

Cry, laugh, get physiotherapy on my wrists! (It is a huge book!)

Happy, sad, love, despair, all at the same time!

Robin Hobb, deserves a medal for being able to conjure such a range of emotions from me all within a single chapter!

It has fabulous characterisation, a wonderful story and is generally a good work out for your arms too!

You may have permanent wrist damage from holding it, also you may not get much sleep whilst reading it as it is very engrossing!
