Summary of this Book...
The story goes on... and on, and on. Truth be told, nothing happens in that book.
This type of Book is good for...
Well, if you are a Jordan fan (like myself-I own the first six books in two languages) then you can enjoy the fact that the author gives a lot of detail about his colorful world.
I especially liked...
Nothing really.
I didn't like...
Where to start?

Well, to begin with, nothing happens in that installment of the series. And I do mean, NOTHING. I can imagine that being a 30 page filler for some of his previous books but that much of nothing gets boring real fast. It was a struggle for me to get to page 350; from then on, it was simply a pain to keep on reading.

No action whatsoever, only descriptions of lace, clothing, minor characters that nobody bothers to remember etc. If the book were a knitting manual I can understand, but then, it is marketed as epic fantasy so it was something of a disappointment.

On another note, Jordan's characters seem to be digressing as the series drags on. Women can feel nothing but anger/uneasiness for men (in which case a proper smoothing out of the skirt in bound to happen), the male characters seem to make as many logical decisions as a three years old kid and the whole atmosphere resembles one huge kindergarten. With the difference, of course, that the fate of the world/universe depends on those particular characters...

It simply seems as though Robert Jordan is testing his fans' resolve and patience.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Just to get it over with. That book is definitely the worst of the series (and given the last two books that is saying a lot). Robert Jordan is walking a thin line with regards to his fans. To be honest with you, I do not know how that book made it past the editor.

Jordan's writing style is but a shadow of its former self, his imagination is nowhere to be found and the characters seem to be modelled after the colorful individuals of one of Jerry Springer's shows.

I have spent a goodly amount of cash on Jordan's books and I can tell you right now that I am not speding any more. When the next one comes along, I will wait for my library to get it instead of wasting yet another $30 for something that will waste my nerves.

This Book made me feel...
Betrayed.Cheated. If I pay this much for a piece of writing, I expect some quality in return.
The author of this Book...
Robert Jordan needs to end this once and for all and start with a clean sheet. I am starting to root for the bad guys to slay the main characters just to relieve them of their misery.
I recommend this Book because...
It is one of the finest examples of how NOT to write a decent book. It will teach what NOT to do if you would like to earn the respect of your readers...
I don't recommend this Book because...
You will lose your time and money. Get something by George R.R. Martin instead.
