This is a short but profound book that gets into the complicated issues of change by way of a simple parable of mice and men.

Anyone and everyone, for we all experience change, and we all have difficulties accepting and dealing with change, to one degree or another.

The simplicity of the parable, and the ease with which its principles are applied to real life situations.

Laugh at myself, and resolve to make change an easier process in my life.

A little foolish, and rightly so. I often complicate my own decision making process.

It makes clear many of the pitfalls we face in day to day living, and provides an easy and fun analogy to help discuss and deal with those pitfalls.

Some have felt this book is too simple, or that it doesn't delve deep enough into the truths it reveals. I recommend those folks read it again. They simply missed at least some of its wisdom, and probably felt a little ashamed at their own resistance to change, perhaps to the point that they allowed themselves to be distracted from some of its wonders. Many people have expressed how it helped them in ways that changed their lives. It is a gem to treasure.
