Summary of this Book...
In his memoir, "Dipatches From The Edge", Anderson Cooper writes about his life with a poignant perspective I didn't quite expect. Growing up as the youngest son of mother, Gloria Vanderbilt, he recounts the suicide of his brother with heart-wrenching detail and moving emotion which he also places in his recounts of the atrocities he witnessed as a journalist.

When you walk away from an autobiography feeling as though you have just met the author in person, it's a job well done in my opinion. I highly recommend this book.
I especially liked...
I loved how he described the inner-conflict of the excitement over the journalistic fabric of a story and the empathy for the people involved.
The author of this Book...
Amazingly honest.
