Lord Drake Boscastle has been hardened to finding love. He's a scoundrel and a rake. In attempt to find female companionship, he makes arrangements to meet a courestan, Maribella St. Ives. Prior to going, he's at a dance and meets a ladies companion, Eloise Goodwin. Drake shares a dance and a kiss with Eloise. When it comes time to meet with Maribella, Drake can't get Eloise off his mind. When Drake's cousin, Gabriel, shows up with Eloise, Drake leaves to help her find her charge, Thalia Thornton. Can he find love with Eloise?

Light reading. It's a good romance that's quick to get through.

It has a nice romantic feel. There's also a good, solid story behind the romance as opposed to being a "bodice ripper."

Well, if you don't care for romance, stay away from it.

It's a romance that will suck you in. The love scenes are passionate and tasteful. Hunter did a great job establishing the setting/time & place. The characters are rich and vivid from Drake and Eloise to the supporting cast. It is useful in that if you are an inspiring romance writer, this is a good book to read and learn from.
