Richard, a young American, goes on a solo trip to Thailand. In Bangkok, a crazy man gives him a map to a secret island paradise. Richard convinces two French tourists, Francoise and Etienne, to find that fabled beach.
Before he leaves the mainland, Richard makes a copy of the map. This will later come back to haunt him.

To have a relaxed time watching Thailand from afar, experiencing the party life and also the serenity of nature.

The nature visuals, even though i would have wished for more.

I was happy to have watched it.

Leonardo DiCaprio, Virginie Ledoyen, Guillaume Canet, Robert Carlyle, Tilda Swinton. They gave strong performances and were believable in their roles.

It has a good mix of action, romance, and stunning nature images. The story has drama, is believable and yet also stays fantastical enough to be just a fun story to be told.
