This is the story of a college professor who becomes one of the most influential theatre critics in New York. It takes place in the late 1950s and stars Doris Day and David Niven.

I first saw it when I was a very little kid. I love Doris Day's singing.

Doris Day and the dog. I love the dog in this. He is deathly afraid of squirrels.

David Niven - he was too old to play Doris Day's hubby.

watch another old movie. I am into that these days.

like my mother was here with me watching it.

is pretty good, except for Niven. He is sadly miscast.

it is entertaining and you get to hear Doris Day sing. It is funny in spots and the dog is very amusing. I enjoyed it.
