a bit of my book
my book is a work in progress that I hope to have published someday.
here is a random excerpt from it.

i was less than an arms length away when i looked up and caught his eyes staring down at me. the sky on its clearest day could never have compared to the radiant blue color of his luminescent eyes. they looked past my face and saw into my thoughts, or so it seemed. there was a happiness to them but also great sadness and loss. two emotions battling for control in front of me with a third, loneliness, waiting in the wings. it was faint and had i not seen it i could never have believed him capable of such a feeling and my heart ached for him. too soon, they disappeared behind a mask of inquisitiveness.
