This was a great story, and held my attention the entire time. I loved the phrase "It's been in our family since Earth." A nice little twist on familiar expression.
You did a really good job at slowly revealing things about the world without saying them outright. I really liked the tech you introduced as well.
Sorry that this wasn't too involved of a review, but I don't really have anything to suggest. It was well written, the pacing was good, and I was entertained throughout. Very well done. :)
Excellent job :D Considering this was written so long ago, and with no real writing experience to go with it, the back and forth in dialogue was impressive. You wrote with passion and confidence, something that really shines through.
I'm not one for Romance stories usually, and this just came up in my rate and review link, but I enjoyed it. It was a short woeful story, well-written and a little on the mundane side. But that mundanity worked with the rest of it, and as such, it came out a sweet little morsel of a genre otherwise unexplored.
Well, written. However, you should provide a summary of what it is you're speaking against/about. Chalk it up to me not being as up to date with current events as I should be, but I don't really know what you're talking about.
I am able to put somethings into context though, and as an atheist I agree with your ideas on how we should move forward in respect. If I understood said ideas correctly.
Again, well written. But maybe a more rounded out picture for the casual observer would be more effective.
