Loved it. Am new to this site, and to writing, although I am an extremely avid reader. Really liked the alternating long and short lines, a simple trick that got the ebb and flow of the ocean across.
I initially didn't like the last line as I found it a tad cheesy and it took me out of the piece, but on reflection, I like it now. The rhyme is playful. Cheeky even.
