Awesome chapter! the whole plot bouncing back and forth is a bit dodgy, but after reading it a couple of times I think I am starting to understand you writing style. I like your writing style. Very descriptive and your plot is full of ideas. I think it would be more smooth with its flow if you patched it chronologically even separate POVs from the chapter.
It certainly will prove interesting to see how they deal with thier issues this time around. My grandmother used to say something along the lines of what you described above by actions of Sarah reacting to the gifted shoes from Jareth. She used to say "even if all you do is give a penny for payment, give it as a return to the gift from someone you dont trust...or if someone gives you a knife (set)" something to do with the evil eye and the intentions of the gift. There has to be some similar thing or saying in ireland, where the legends of the Fey come from, right?
