I love it! Ok so reading your 'Dear Me' makes me want to figure out how to do mine. Because this year to me is not about resolutions it is about goals which is what yours seems to be too. I love the way you kid yourself and goad yourself, awesome. May you get everything finished you wish to this year!.

Pretty interesting story. Very edgy. Descriptions of things just enough to give good clarity of the scene and leave room for readers to form their own mental picture. Could see this as a stand alone story or a epic novel. A narcoleptic in a world filled with zombies that would eat him in his sleep, great plot. Very Stephen Kingish or Dean Koontz. Makes me want to know Whats up with the hat. I will have to go check out the rest of your story or stories. This one definitely piqued my interest.

I clicked on this story to 'take a peek at it' and was immediately hooked. It reminded me of my favorite Poe story The Tell-Tale Heart. I laughed along with Fred and his craze to find the Sound, his embarrassing childhood things being dumped at his house and his 'I have a gambling problem'. Hated Ms. Taylor for him. Very engaging short story. Hope he finds a resolution to his Sound before it drives him mad. Thanks for the great read. Keep up the great writing!
