I really enjoyed this piece! It's well written, and the dialogue is really believable. There's nothing that I would change. Good luck for the competition!

Hey,

This is beautiful writing! I didn't find your descriptions too heavy handed - which can easily happen in descriptive pieces - and they really captured the main characters feeling well. I love the idea of the story too. I loved the whole thing!

Hi Angus,

I thought this story was great. You - or your narrator - has a fantastic natural rythym which is easy to read yet carries a lot of information and feeling. I also enjoyed the subtle uncertainty you managed to create; was she unimpressed because he was already barely passing her class, or was it because of the subject matter? It's pretty impressive to be able to pack such a short piece with such shades of meaning and interpretation. Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed this piece!
